OFFICE/COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY

With the continued exceptional growth being experienced in the Eastern Panhandle/Tri-State area, well-trained administrative support personnel are essential for business and industry. The Office/Computer Technology program provides students the training needed for employment in a career of their choice. Students are prepared for careers as secretaries, office managers, and administrative assistants with an emphasis on office technology and computer skills.
The students in this program are dual enrolled with Blue Ridge Community and Technical College and up to 36 hours of college credit may be awarded. Twenty- four (24) hours of elective credit may be awarded at Mountain State University. Students are exposed to an internship during the second semester. MOS certification exams are available to the students.
