AUTOMOTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Automotive Technology is a fully ASE certified program and allows students to gain skills needed for an entry-level position in the automotive industry.
Students spend fifty percent of their time in supervised shop practice and the other fifty percent in the classroom studying related theory. We encourage certification through ASE.
An articulation agreement exists between James Rumsey Technical Institute and Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.
- Thirty two to forty five (32-45) hours of college credit may be awarded through dual enrollment.
- Twenty -four (24) hours of elective credit may be awarded at Mountain State University.
- Twelve (12) hours credit may be awarded through University of Northwestern Ohio.
