JRTI's Workforce
James Rumsey Technical Institute is committed to training tomorrow's workers in both technical areas and academic classes. At present there are forty-six teachers, administrators and staff all dedicated to the principle- the person, who has a trade has a future. Rumsey's technical teachers bring decades of practical experience into their classes, while academic teachers prepare students for both career work and for post-secondary education at a trade school, community college or four year college.
From the newest member of the staff to the most senior staff member, the commitment to excellence is the most important motivating factor shared by faculty and staff. The staff boasts thirty-one trained technical instructors, many of whom have also earned college degrees. Rumsey is also blessed with excellent academic teachers whose goal is to train literate trades people for the twenty-first century. In the classroom, in the shops, at the work benches, students are guided by a committed, highly-qualified faculty dedicated to providing the students of Rumsey with the best possible technical and academic education, so they may be prepared for the work-place of the twenty-first century.
