Registration/Notification
Pre-registration and payment are due one week prior to the
beginning of class in order to determine whether classes will be held or
canceled due to lack of enrollment. Late registrants will not be guaranteed
textbooks at the beginning of class. Mail your tuition fee and application
to James Rumsey. Checks should be made payable
to James Rumsey Technical Institute. If you are not
notified, assume your registration has been processed and report at the
scheduled time and date of your class.
Refund Policy
A full refund will be given if a class is filled or
cancelled or a request is made prior to the start of class. A refund of the
tuition fee will be made on the following basis: Withdrawal prior to the
second class session - 80% less $5.00 administration fee. Withdrawal after
the second class session - No Refund.
Attendance
In order to receive
consideration for a certificate of satisfactory completion, the adult must
be in attendance 80% of the scheduled class time.
James Rumsey Technical Institute's Adult Basic Education does not provide
college, industry or private credit/endorsement or certification in any
specialized field unless specifically designated in course description.
