Post Secondary Programs
Most post secondary classes at James Rumsey are 11 months in length with classes beginning approximately August 10 and ending approximately June 20 of each year.
The LPN class begins one month earlier. The truck driving program is 12 weeks in length and new classes begin approximately every six weeks.
All adults in high school programs follow the secondary schedule, which is 10 months in length. All high school programs are not open to adult enrollment; prior approval must be made with the Assistant Principal or the Coordinator of Student Services. Some programs have specific enrollment requirements. Information may be obtained by contacting the school at (304) 754-7925.
Financial aid is available to qualified applicants. Most post secondary programs offer dual enrollment with Blue Ridge Community & Technical College in Martinsburg, WV.
