General Building Construction
Instructor: Mr. Tom Withers
Students enrolled in the building construction program study a variety of related subjects in both theory and shop practice. The course provides for training in all phases of home construction: walls, roof, windows and doors, and blueprint reading. Shop and safety activities are combined with classroom instruction.
Students are not required to become registered apprentices to take the Building Construction Class but are encouraged to do so. Some math and computer literacy prerequisites may be required for registration.
